There are different types of accommodation that we make available to our international students. Based on your choice of accommodation, INTERSTUDCanada will assist in finding suitable accommodation and make it ready for you for when you arrive in the city of your studies. Know that INTERSTUDCanada can help you choose the accommodation that best suits your needs, your family situation, the duration of your stay and your finances.
Below are listed the different types of housing INTERSTUDCanada can reserve for you before your arrival in Canada:
1) Home stay accommodation:
The home stay is a great opportunity to see how Canadians live, to be immersed in Canadian culture and practice talking in the studying language (English and / or French). INTERSTUDCanada weighs carefully and regularly monitors all host families to ensure they fully meet our rigorous selection criteria. Quality, comfort and hygiene of the household are the criteria as well as the sociability, the desire to welcome and moral values of the host family.
INTERSTUDCanada carefully selects host family that best suits your personality, your lifestyle and of course your health needs, allergies, dietary restrictions (because of your religion, belief) …
INTERSTUDCanada has a network of host families carefully selected to offer hospitality to international students. In addition to their desire to provide a warm and welcoming family, host families provide students with:
– Accommodation: a single room, a shared or private bathroom, access to TV, washing machine, telephone.
– Meals: 2 or 3 times a day.
It is recognized that the fact of living in a host family favors the discovery of a new culture and provides an environment conducive to language development.
If you are interested in this type of housing, advise INTERSTUDCanada as soon as possible to begin the selection process for home stay.
2) Accommodation in residence:
Often, universities and colleges automatically reserve a room in residence for new international full time students. It is important to apply in time to secure a room in residence. If you are interested to live in residence, inform INTERSTUDCanada who will apply for you at the same time of registration in the desired program.
3) Private accommodation:
This option allows you to live alone in an apartment, share an apartment or a house where every student roommate will have his own room. Arrangement for furnished room is also possible.
Inform INTERSTUDCanada of your choice so to begin the process of finding accommodation.
